SINGAPORE AIRLINES HOLIDAYS BOOKING CONDITIONS

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by Singapore Airlines Holidays.

Singapore Airlines Holidays and www.siaholidays.com.au is operated by Wendy Wu Tours Pty Ltd ABN 87 082 688 202.

Please note that pricing is valid for departures to 31 March 2015 unless otherwise stated and is subject to availability at the time of booking.

In these booking conditions Wendy Wu Tours Pty Ltd and entities that are related or affiliated with it in the provision of the services it agrees to provide (where the context admits, together with its and their employees and agents) are included in the expressions the "Company", "Singapore Airlines Holidays", "we", "our" or "us" and a person taking advantage of the services offered by Singapore Airlines Holidays, all other persons (if any) included with that person in the booking and that person's or those persons' travel agent (if any) are included in the expression "you", "your", a "customer" or "passenger".

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS

Booking of travel arrangements and payment of a deposit thereof shall be considered proof that you have read our booking terms and conditions and that you accept them without reservation as constituting the entire agreement between yourself and the Company which can only be varied by an officer of Singapore Airlines Holidays in writing. The person making a booking shall be deemed to have accepted our booking terms and conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking. The Company does not own nor operate the airlines, hotels, sightseeing, shipping, transfer or vehicle hire companies or cruise lines (herein called "suppliers") whose transport, accommodation or meal services you may receive on your holiday. The Company reserves the right to pass on any costs imposed by airlines for ticketing plus any fees. All holiday components sold by the Company are provided by reputable suppliers, which operate in accordance with the standards set down by their own local authorities. The Company bookings therefore are subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of such suppliers, some of which exclude or limit liability in respect of death, injury, delay, loss or damage to your person and/or effects. The Company recommends that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance cover valid for the entire duration of the holiday.

HOLIDAY DURATIONS

The durations for short breaks, extensions and tours advertised on this website are based on a period of days to allow you to plan with ease. Overseas holidays may well require an overnight flight and therefore one day may simply be your journey home to Australia. Holidays from Perth may be one day less in duration due to flight times and connections being shorter. Please refer to the specific itineraries and the final quote from our reservations team.

RESERVATION & DEPOSIT

Please submit a copy of your passport together with a deposit as specified to Singapore Airlines Holidays or your travel agent to arrive within 3 days of receiving our confirmation that the company is holding arrangements for you.
FLIGHT WITH STOPOVER DEPOSIT: $150 per person
HOLIDAY PACKAGE OR TOUR DEPOSIT: $195 per person
Singapore Airlines Holidays reserves the right to correct any errors in rates quoted or calculated, or any omissions made at any time during your booking. Any verbal quote given is only an indication of the final price and is subject to confirmation in writing. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

Payment transactions will incur an additional fee if paid by credit card. This fee is dependent on the type of credit card and transaction amount, and is non-refundable. Charges are as follows:
Visa or MasterCard 1.25% of final balance (no charge for deposit)
American Express 3.25% deposit and final balance.
Diners Club International Cards are not accepted.
All payments for bookings for any products acquired via the Company website must be paid in full by Credit Card (American Express, Visa or MasterCard). You must therefore provide us with all the required details.

BALANCE OF PAYMENT

The final balance of the travel arrangements is due at Singapore Airlines Holidays no later than 60 days prior to the confirmed tour departure date as confirmed by acceptance of the booking. Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in additional costs which will be passed on as a late payment fee of no less than $30 per booking or cancellation at the discretion of the company.

Singapore Airlines Holidays reserves the right to request a partial payment of the final balance more than 60 days prior to departure (e.g. airfare portion) in the event that airline tickets need to be issued by our office or by our operators overseas due to airline ticketing time limits.

PRICE GUARANTEE

The price of your holiday is only guaranteed once full payment is received.
(a) The Company endeavors to ensure that all prices listed on the Singapore Airlines Holidays website are accurate and up-to-date. However, due to exchange rate fluctuations or increases in supplier rates, the Company reserves the right, to adjust any fees, charges or prices as necessary, to reflect such cost increases passed onto the Company up until final payment is received for the products required. The price of your holiday is only guaranteed once full payment is received.
(b) The exception to a) above is when government taxes and surcharges imposed by suppliers or third parties change (including, but not limited to, bed tax, destination tax, fuel surcharges and other taxes or ticketing fees), for any reason, beyond our control, prior to travel commencing. The Company reserves the right to pass any of these third party increases on to you, and these must be paid prior to travel commencing.

PRICES

Some holiday prices within this website are for land only arrangements and others display prices including air travel from airports as stated. In summary:
AIRFARES including fuel surcharges, taxes, levies and charges are  INCLUDED in prices shown for tours and short stays only. Airfares are included in holidays to the Maldives.

AIRFARES are NOT INCLUDED in prices of stopovers or extensions. See specific pages for clarification or speak to our reservations team on 1300 728 998.

VISAS are NOT INCLUDED in any prices.

TRAVEL INSURANCE is NOT INCLUDED in any prices and is highly recommended.

NOT INCLUDED: Any taxes imposed directly by third parties, passport costs, where necessary, resort fee, meals unless otherwise stated as included, any additional bedding, beverages, gratuities, travel insurance, excess baggage charges, communication costs, laundry, taxis and any other items of a personal nature. Activities at resorts in the Maldives may be at a supplement and charged locally – please enquire prior to booking. The Company is not liable for any expense, costs or loss incurred in case of illness, or refusal of entry, detention in, or expulsion or repatriation from a country or part of a country. You agree not to hold the Company responsible for any such things.

CHANGES TO PRICES AND ITINERARIES

Prices are in Australian dollars (except where noted otherwise) and are correct at the time of publication (Asia: March 2014, Maldives: May 2014) and are subject to change without notice. In the event that currency fluctuations affect the price of your booking, we reserve the right to adjust our prices as necessary at the time of payment. In the event of airline schedule changes or those made by our suppliers or for any reason beyond our control, we will notify you. In the event that new Trade Fair periods or new Trade Fair rates and /or dates become evident, The Company will inform you of any change and invoice you at the new rates. Revised rates will apply to all bookings including those made before the change. If the change or changes result in your holiday costing more, or otherwise being materially different from that prior to the change or changes being effected and in respect of which we have already accepted your deposit or balance payment, you may rearrange your holiday or cancel. Monies already paid will be refunded less any charges levied by suppliers. The price that is applicable at any time is that which is quoted at that time by the Company's computer based system. Government taxes and charges imposed by third parties are subject to change.

FESTIVALS & EVENTS

Seasonal surcharges may apply throughout the year for special events, festivals, trade fairs or conferences, which may alter the price indicated. Prices will be finalised and confirmed at time of booking and may be updated throughout the year as Singapore Airlines Holidays is advised.

AMENDMENT & BOOKING FEES

The following fees will apply: Amendments to confirmed and deposited itineraries outside of 30 days prior to departure where the value of the booking is decreased: $25 per change (a change to the booking that increases the value will incur no fee). Amendments within 30 days of departure: $50 per change. An amendment to a booking may also incur cancellation fees from suppliers. If a reissue of travel documents (including airline tickets) is required after the original travel documents have been issued, a non-refundable fee of $25 per international booking will be charged, in addition to any charges, courier fees and/or amendment fees levied by the suppliers such as airlines, hotels or ground operators

AIRFARE

Holiday package airfares are based on the use of Special Inclusive Tour Airfares and special conditions may apply. Some airfares have limited availability and validity, or are required to be booked and paid for in full, by a certain date and/or prior to 30 days, for your travel. Airfare cancellation charges are additional and are governed as per current air traffic rules and regulations. For applicable airfare prices, conditions and charges, please check with your travel agent or Singapore Airlines Holidays at time of booking. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a cancellation of the airline booking.

LATE BOOKINGS

Bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure will incur a late booking fee of no less than $30 per booking which is payable along with the final payment at the time of booking.. Payment must be made within 3 days after the company confirms that it is holding space. If payment is not so made, Singapore Airlines Holidays shall have the right to cancel the booking at its discretion. The booking may also incur additional fees.

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER

In the event of a cancellation any refunds will be less administration fees including tour transfer fees, fuel surcharge and any other airline cancellation fees and any applicable amendment fees. Regrettably cancellation charges and fees cannot be waived. There can be no exceptions. No refund will be made for any unused portions of the holiday after the departure date. Please note that employees of any overseas company or staff of Singapore Airlines Holidays outside Australia are not authorised to give any guarantees or agreements to customers in respect of refunds or any other matters. All cancellations must be made in writing to Singapore Airlines Holidays and will be subject to the following cancellation charges from the date the written cancellation is received: If ticket has been issued then the full amount for the airfare.

  1. More than 45 days prior to departure; loss of deposit plus any administration fees
  2. Between 31-44 days prior to departure; 50% of total holiday/tour cost
  3. 30 days or less prior to departure; 100% of total holiday/tour cost
  4. Any 'no show'; 100% of total holiday/tour cost.

CANCELLATION BY SINGAPORE AIRLINES HOLIDAYS

Singapore Airlines Holidays reserves the right to cancel or vary a tour prior to departure due to insufficient numbers. In such an event alternative guaranteed travel dates will be offered. Should these options not be acceptable the company will refund the full price paid. If a tour is cancelled or varied prior to departure due to unforeseeable circumstances such as, but not restricted to, severe weather conditions or force majeure, Singapore Airlines Holidays will refund all monies prior to departure, fuel surcharge and any other cancellation fees levied by airlines and other third parties. Unforeseeable circumstances such as force majeure, adverse weather, flight rescheduling, hotel overbooking and faults with transportation or road conditions may also have an effect on the tour itinerary after the commencement date. Any decision made in respect of tour services by independent operators to re-route or amend the itinerary due to any of the above or similar circumstances is at the discretion of the tour service provider and Singapore Airlines Holidays shall not be liable for any claim whatsoever arising from such events.

PROCEDURE FOR LODGING COMPLAINTS OR CLAIMS

At Singapore Airlines Holidays we are committed to ensuring we deal with complaints effectively and efficiently. Should the customer not be satisfied with any aspect of their arrangements, they must immediately inform the national escort or local guide who will endeavour to resolve the issue at the time. If this is not possible and you wish to make a complaint or claim this must be done in writing to Singapore Airlines Holidays in Sydney or Contact us here within 30 days of the completion of your Singapore Airlines Holidays arrangements. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the relevant letter of claim. Our complaints handling policy can be found at www.siaholidays.com.au/feedback

LAW OF CONTRACT

This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of New South Wales and any legal action arising therefrom shall be litigated only in the appropriate court in that state having jurisdiction in that claim.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

A passport with a minimum of six months validity is required for customers travelling to all countries in our programme. It is the responsibility of each passenger to have an appropriate Visa valid for the entire duration of their trip. To ensure accuracy of ticketing information, we require a copy of the passports of all customers to be able to confirm the booking. Responsibility for documentation accuracy, passport validity and dispatch of required documents rests with the customer. Singapore Airlines Holidays accepts no responsibility for any failure in this respect. Any cancellation fees or other expenses incurred by the customer due to the refusal of a visa will be entirely the customer’s liability.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended that all customers travelling with Singapore Airlines Holidays are adequately covered by insurance for the duration of their travel arrangements. Singapore Airlines Holidays cannot in any way be made liable for any additional cost incurred by the customer on any tour.

CONSULAR ADVICE

We recommend that you review information provided by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade prior to making your booking by calling 1300 555 135, or by visiting their website www.dfat.gov.au for the latest information. We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with the latest Government Consular advice and information.

Smartraveller.org.au is a recommended resource.

Passengers should check with embassies or consulates of the countries in which they intend to transit or travel to/from, for any entry or exit visa requirements. Australian citizens are required to purchase a visa on arrival to Bali. It is essential to ensure that your travel consultant advises Singapore Airlines Holidays passport details of all passengers travelling and an Australian telephone number and address where you can be reached prior to departure from Australia.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Company shall be responsible to the passenger for arranging supply of the services described on this website or in our brochure, except where such services cannot be supplied or the itinerary used is changed due to delays or other causes of whatever kind or nature beyond the control of the Company. In such circumstances, the Company will do its best to arrange supply of comparable services and itineraries and there shall be no refund in this connection. In the absence of its own negligence, neither the Company nor any agent or affiliate has any liability for any cancellations, diversions, substitution of equipment, variations, postponements or any other act, omission or default of air or land carriers, cruise operators, hoteliers or hotels, transport companies or any other suppliers nor for any consequences thereof such as changes in services, accommodation or facilities. In the absence of its own negligence neither the Company nor any agent or affiliate shall be liable for any loss or damage to baggage or property, or for injury, illness or death, or for any damages or claims whatsoever arising from loss, negligence, delay or from the act, error, omission, default or negligence of any person not its direct employee or under its exclusive control, including any act, error, omission, default, or negligence of any country, government or governmental authority, officer or employee. Neither the Company nor any agent or affiliate is responsible for any criminal conduct by any third parties. All bookings agreed to be made by the Company with the provider of any transport or other services are subject to the terms and conditions imposed on such suppliers in relation to matters that may not be expressly the subject of our agreement with them and, in particular, to the applicable laws, requirements and policies of any government, governmental authority or employee including, visa, entry, exit or transit. Where the passenger occupies a motor vehicle seat fitted with a safety belt, neither the Company nor any agent, affiliate or supplier concerned will be liable for any injury, illness or death or for any loss damage or claim whatsoever arising from any accident or incident if the safety belt is not being worn at the time of such accident or incident. The Company accepts responsibility only for the services it provides. The Company does not accept responsibility or liability for any acts, omissions or defaults whether negligent or otherwise, of suppliers. Neither the Company, nor any agent or affiliate accepts any responsibility or liability of any nature whatsoever for the acts, omissions or defaults (whether negligent or otherwise) of any governmental authorities, their officers, or employees or of any employees, or agents of airlines, air carriers, coach operators, other land carriers, shipping companies or operators, cruise or ferry operators, any other transport providers, hoteliers or other accommodation providers, any other facilities providers, tour directors, tour guides, travel agents, or the providers to you of meals, other goods or other services on your holiday or in relation to it and over whom the Company, its agents or affiliates have no direct control. Neither the Company nor any agent or affiliate accepts any responsibility or liability of any nature whatsoever including but not limited to contract, in tort or under any other law for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused by your own acts and/or omissions, or other events which are beyond their control including force majeure or other events including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, severe weather, acts of God, acts of government or any other authorities, failure of equipment or machinery. Neither The Company nor any agent or affiliate accepts any liability or responsibility for any terms, conditions or requirements of any third party who provides some service in the course of your holiday. If you decide that you do not want to visit a country or part of a country you intended to visit because of any law, condition or requirements of any government or governmental authority, official, servant or agent, you are responsible for any costs, expenses, charges, fees, losses or damage incurred as a consequence and any cancellation or amendment fees. Neither the Company nor any agent accepts any responsibility or liability for your acts, omissions, defaults, conduct, state of health, condition or circumstances. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of this website/ our brochure. However, the Company cannot be held responsible for printing or typographical errors or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances.

AIRLINE FUEL LEVY SURCHARGE

Since 2004 all airlines servicing flights to Asia have been charging a fuel levy surcharge, on top of the normal airline ticket price, in order to cover the increased cost of aviation fuel. As fuel prices have fluctuated, so too has the amount the airlines charge for this levy. This amount is detailed against every short stay or tour featured in our brochure/on this website (where flights are included) and will also be advised to you at the time of your booking and is subject to change until your airline ticket is issued.

AIRLINES

Airlines featured on this website or in our brochure do not by virtue of their endorsement represent themselves either as contracting with any purchaser of a holiday from Singapore Airlines Holidays, or as having any legal relationship with such a purchaser. Frequent flyer miles may not be accrued on some packaged fares. For details, contact our office

SHOPPING

Shopping can be fun and entertaining, especially in local markets, where many copies of international brand names can be purchased for next to nothing. However, Singapore Airlines Holidays, its staff and employees are neither qualified nor permitted to ensure or guarantee the quality or value of any goods purchased or the suitability of any retail outlets visited and the security of using a credit card to purchase such goods. In all cases the purchasing of goods and the use of a credit card for those transactions is entirely at the customer’s own risk and at all times the customer must use their own discretion.

SEATBELTS AND LIFE JACKETS

Please note that seatbelts are not compulsory by law in many countries in Asia and therefore the local people largely choose not to wear them. For this reason local operators may or may not have seatbelts in vehicles or they may be hidden underneath protective seat covers. It is recommended that where seatbelts are available customers must use them and remain seated at all times while the vehicle is moving. As such, customers acknowledge that seatbelts may not be available and therefore travel at their own risk.

Lifejackets are provided on water transfers in the Maldives. It is the responsibility of our customers to wear them and act responsibly.

Customers warrant that they shall not make any claim howsoever arising for injury or damage in respect of, arising from or contributed to by the absence of seatbelts or failure to wear lifejackets and hereby release Singapore Airlines Holidays from all such claims.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

All customers are required to familiarise themselves with any health requirements specific to the countries being visited.

Some vaccinations may be recommended some period in advance of traveling. Please contact your local doctor who will advise you of these requirements as well as any international restrictions regarding travelling with prescribed medicines. A Visa does not guarantee you entry to a country or permission to remain in it. Some countries may refuse entry because of your health, condition, or other circumstances or for other reasons, or may detain, expel or repatriate you. You should check with the embassies or consulates or other authorities of the countries in which you intend to travel for any health, entry or visa requirements that are applicable and you should make the appropriate disclosures as required. A failure to disclose a health condition may result in the applicable country refusing you entry, or in you being detained, expelled or repatriated from it. The Company and/or its servants and agents accept no responsibility if you are refused entry into the country/countries of your destination. The Company and/or its servants and agents are not liable for any expenses, costs, liabilities or loss incurred in relation to such matters. You agree to not hold the Company including its servants and agents responsible for any such thing. The Company/and or its servants and agents are not responsible for any disclosures of a health condition made by other suppliers who provide services on the holiday or for the acts of any governmental instrumentalities of the countries connected to your holiday. To ensure the safety of all passengers, including you, it may be necessary for the Company and/or its servants and agents to disclose your condition of health to suppliers of other services connected with your holiday. You authorise the Company and/or its servants and agents to make such disclosure on your behalf and agree that a disclosure by the Company and/or its servants and agents shall not amount to a breach of confidence or duty and you will not hold the Company and/or its servants and agents liable in tort (actionable wrong) or in contract or under any anti-discrimination laws.

Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) If you have a history of DVT you will be required to complete a DVT letter of Indemnity. This can be obtained by contacting our office on 1300 728 998.

BROCHURE VALIDITY

Tour itineraries and prices in this brochure are accurate at the time of printing and prices are based on exchange rates as at 05 March 2014. Once the customer has paid the deposit the holiday/tour price is guaranteed, subject to any increase in fuel surcharge, tax changes or levies imposed by any government or their agencies or any airline. The prices for holidays and tours after 31 March 2015 are subject to change without notice. The departure dates of holidays and tours after 31 March 2015 are subject to change due to future airline schedules. Singapore Airlines Holidays reserves the right to make alternations to itineraries, departure dates and prices due to circumstances beyond their control.

HOTEL DESCRIPTIONS, MAPS & PICTURES

Hotel descriptions featured on this website are based on current hotel guides provided by suppliers and contractual agreements. Any facilities described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs are included for general information only and may not necessarily reflect actual routings, location or services. Singapore Airlines Holidays has made reasonable enquiries to verify that the descriptions and details are accurate but does not warrant that they are.

PRIVACY

We are collecting your personal information so that we can process your booking. We will also keep you up to date with other Singapore Airlines Holidays and Wendy Wu Tours’ offers and product information which may be of interest to you if you have consented to this. You can opt out of receiving information at any time if you chose to do so. Any personal information you provide will be managed in accordance with Singapore Airlines Holidays privacy policy which can be viewed at www.siaholidays.com.au/privacy

By providing email and postal addresses you have agreed to receive correspondence from Singapore Airlines Holidays which may contain marketing, specials and promotional material. We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be viewed at www.siaholidays.com.au/privacy. By making a booking for any one or more of the products and/or services offered by Singapore Airlines Holidays, you are indicating - (a) that you have read our Privacy Policy and (b) your acceptance of our Privacy Policy.

FREQUENT FLYER POINTS

Airfares may or may not attract Frequent Flyer points and this policy is undergoing continual review by the airline. At time of printing there are limited points awarded for certain fare types. We monitor the terms and conditions regularly and will update our policy as frequent flyer programs adjust their terms. At time of printing it is not possible to use Krisflyer points to pay in part or full for any component of a Singapore Airlines Holiday.

AGENT RESPONSIBILITIES

It is the travel agents’ responsibility to ensure that all invoice and itinerary details and documentation issued by Singapore Airlines Holidays is correct and that the customer is aware of amendment and cancellation conditions and other clauses in these Booking Conditions.

FREE STOPOVER & HOTEL BONUS

The free stopover includes one night accommodation at the specified hotel on a bed & breakfast basis including airport-hotel-airport transfers (on a seat-in-coach basis).The free stopover is subject to availability at the time of booking. If the specified hotel is unavailable we will make every effort to find an alternative hotel of a similar standard. This offer is not available over the period of the Singapore Formula One Grand Prix. Other peak season festivals or events may be heavily restricted in availability. Our offers and bonuses cannot be combined unless specifically stated. Our offers may be restricted to certain room categories.

REDUCED PRICE OFFERS

Price reductions may be made available for certain periods of travel or periods of booking. We regret that these offers may not be applicable to existing bookings or applied retrospectively.

FORMULA ONE GRAND PRIX

The 2014 Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix is organised by Singapore GP Pte Ltd ("the organisers") for whom we act as an agent for these purposes – please refer to their terms and conditions which can be found at http://singaporegp.sg which, by proceeding, you agree will apply to your booking. Please note in Particular that the organisers advise that motor racing, the event and activities associated with the event (including without limitation, support events) are inherently dangerous and accidents can and do happen and by attending the event you consent to the risk of injury, loss or damage. By proceeding you also agree that you will be bound by the Organiser's terms and conditions including those displayed at the event, on the promoter or organiser's website and/or your tickets and that you may be required to sign a Release or Waiver. You further agree that any liability or any claim whatsoever and howsoever arising in the course of the event lies with the event organisers.

INCENTIVES

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. 
  2. Entry is open to consultants who have a preferred agreement with Singapore Airlines Holidays, are residents of Australia & registered AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents) members and a practising travel agent over the age of 18 years at the time of entry. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter. Additional criteria for the Mega Fam Agents incentive apply, please refer to specific terms and conditions
  3. All games are based on skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.

 

Mega Fam Agents’ Incentive: (Famil Trip to The Maldives)

  • Entry is open to participants on the recent “Singapore Airlines Holidays Asian Treasure Trails Famil Trip” only
  • Eligibility: Any new bookings made with Singapore Airlines Holidays between Monday 25 August to 1700 AEST Monday 8 December 2014 are eligible to enter. Each booking will count towards the overall number of bookings which contribute to the final total for the incentive.
  • New bookings constitute a deposit and booking form received
  • The top 4 consultants nationwide who achieve the highest number of bookings based on passenger numbers during the incentive period will qualify for a place on the SIAH familiarisation trip to The Maldives in 2015.
  • Where two or more consultants equal the same total number of passengers booked, the decision will be based on the total dollar value of the combined passengers’ bookings with the consultant having the highest (gross) dollar value given precedence.
  • Bookings cannot be “split” amongst travelling parties undertaking the same itinerary/travel dates in order to gain more entries into the incentive.
  • The Singapore Airlines Holidays familiarisation trip to The Maldives in 2015 includes international airfares, accommodation and some meals. Date of the trip is to be confirmed.
  • Departure taxes, airline fuel surcharge, travel to/from airport and any additional accommodation or arrangements required to connect with airline scheduled is the responsibility of the winner.
  • Passport validity, visa cost and processing is the responsibility of the prize winner. All other ancillary costs including but not limited to travel insurance, meals, drinks, transfers, personal expenditure and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. All taxes (excluding GST) and including Fringe Benefits Tax which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. 
  • The prize is not redeemable for cash
  • The prize is not transferrable to any other person/party
  • The final decision of familiarisation trip participants/incentive winners belongs to the management of Singapore Airlines Holidays and any decision made by them is final and binding

“Singapore Shop-a-Ganza” Incentive: (Package to Singapore with Singapore Airlines Holidays)

  • Entry is open to consultants who have a preferred agreement with Singapore Airlines Holidays, are residents of Australia & registered with AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents) and a practising travel agent over the age of 18 years at the time of entry.
  • Eligibility for main prize: Any new bookings made with Singapore Airlines Holidays from Monday 25th August until  Monday 20th October 2014 at 1300 Australian EST are eligible to enter and will count towards the final total number of passengers for entry into the incentive
  • The top consultant based on the total number of passengers booked with SIAH to any of our destinations during the incentive period will receive a 5 Day/4 Night Singapore Airlines package to Singapore for 2 people including return international airfares (economy) on Singapore Airlines from SYD/BNE/MEL/ADL/PER/DRW to Singapore, return coach transfers in Singapore, 3 Nights accommodation at The Studio M Hotel Singapore (in a Studio Loft category room), a “Singapore By Night” tour with dinner for two at a local restaurant, and a Singapore Sling at The Raffles Hotel (Retail value of the package is $1,635 per person). The Singapore incentive trip is not transferrable to any other person/party. All services are subject to availability
  • New bookings constitute a deposit and passport details received
  • Transfers to and from airports in are the responsibility of the incentive winner
  • If a domestic flight is required within Australia to a Singapore Airlines gateway city then these are the responsibility of the incentive winner.
  • The incentive winner and travelling companion must be able to depart Australia on the 26th November and have a minimum of 6 months validity on their passport from the date of return into Australia
  • The incentive winner may choose a travelling companion of their choice provided they meet with conditions regarding passport validity and availability for travel dates

  • Vouchers: All bookings that are made during the incentive period will be awarded a $25 e-gift card for use on “THE ICONIC” website. (E-gift cards are awarded on a “per booking” basis, not “per passenger”)
  • Bookings made for a travelling party on the same itinerary are not allowed to be “split” into separate bookings.
  • All incentive travel or vouchers are not redeemable for cash
  • THE ICONIC vouchers will be e-mailed at any time from the start of the incentive until one week after the incentive ends. SIAH takes no responsibility for vouchers once they have been e-mailed. Vouchers are to be treated as cash and cannot be replaced or redeemed for cash.
  • Winners are responsible for any FBT incurred as a result of being awarded a prize
  • The final decision of familiarisation trip participants/incentive winners belongs to the management of Singapore Airlines Holidays and any decision made by them is final and binding
  • The winner of the Singapore Shop-a-Ganza incentive will be notified by an email from the Singapore Airlines Holidays office no later than Friday 31st October 2014.
