RENOVATIONS: The hotel advises that they will begin the first of a four phase renovation commencing May 2009. The transformation covers the hotel's 288 guestrooms & suites, the Regency Club Lounge and the creation of a modern swimming pool. Phase one will cover 80 guestrooms on the higher floors plus the Regency Club Lounge and is scheduled for completion in November 2009. Phase two will be completed in the first quarter of 2010, and will cover an additional 80 rooms whilst the remaining rooms and the upgraded swimming pool will be completed by the end of 2010. During the renovation period, the rest of the hotel and all restaurants will be operating as normal. The hotel advises there will be minimal impact to guest comfort as the work timings will be limited to daylight hours and the sites will not be visible to hotel guests whilst inside the building. Newly appointed guestrooms will be released for reservation at the end of each phase of the renovation.
